Update: Pawoo Responds to our Report

My report:

"Users use this tag ( TAGS ) to share images of child sexual abuse. They are trading child pornography at Pawoo."

Pawoo's response:

"Thank you for using Pawoo. Thank you for reporting this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

I had been generous when claiming in my previous article that Pawoo was most likely being taken advantage of by English-speakers. I still believe that to an extent- for the userbase.

As far as the moderation goes, I can't in good faith say there was a language barrier here. I used DeepL, so it's possible I sound awkward and stilted, but I doubt the message failed to get across.

At present, I suggest defederation from Pawoo for all Mastodon instances.
